WhatCounts provides the ability to generate an email snapshot to save and store HTML or PNG screenshots of emails that you send.

- Save, store, and view HTML and PNG screenshots of emails, including contact-specific personalization.
- Email snapshots provide exact history of campaigns and personalized content a contact received.
- Generate for HTML, Multipart, and Text only email campaigns.


Decide which messages to store snapshots for during deployment
You can decide which emails you wish to capture snapshots of and store them for 12 months or longer.
- Grab and store the exact campaign and personalized content history for each contact, allowing for more individualized support.
- For example, a contact of a company’s paperless billing program wants to dispute a bill. Email Snapshot enables the customer support team to pull up the exact snapshot of the email the contact received to review and provide a timely resolution to the dispute.
Email Snapshot
Retrieve your snapshots anytime via API calls or on a recurring batch via FTP. You can choose to preview and/or download the snapshot(s) you are looking for.
Easily Generate a Snapshot:
- View snapshots via REST API call.
- From Contact Details you can view and download the HTML or PNG snapshot in the Actions column.
- You can also choose to batch up email snapshot files on a recurring basis to push to an external location, defined in the FTP Manager.
